Marciana was the elder sister of Emperor Trajan and was highly respected in Roman society, even being awarded the title of Augusta, a rare honor for anyone but the wife of the Emperor. Known for her loyalty and close bond with her brother, she remained influential in his court and was deeply mourned upon her death, after which she was deified.
Types of Marciana are extremely rare.
