Canada Post Strike IMPACT
As an online business we have been actively tracking the developing situation with the Canada Post strike very closely. We will no longer be using Canada Post for shipments until there is clarity on the labour dispute.
In order to maintain business continuity, we have created accounts with several different courier services for both national and international shipments and will be continuing to operate as close to normal as possible.
It is important to us that you receive your coins in a secure and timely manner and as such we will be taking the following action:
- We will absorb any and all additional shipping costs caused by the use of alternate shippers.
- All shipments (including those selecting “non-tracked” shipping will be sent with tracking.
- Any order where Xpresspost shipping is selected will be sent via a major courier (Purolator, Fedex, Canpar, UPS etc.)
- In the case of rolling strike action – shipments will not be made via Canada Post unless there is a minimum of 3 business days beyond the delivery date before the next strike date.
